Chapter 1:

Introduction

You enter the training warehouse, you see that you have a Recruit or maybe multiple. You will need to first Gather them in a single Column Shoulder to shoulder pointing to you. Once the Recruits are in line and have full attention, you should follow these step:

Introduce yourself to them “Welcome Recruits to Training, i am (Rank)(Name)”, as an example “Welcome Recruits to Training, i am SGT. Papa Frankoo”.

After you’ve been given your Rank and Name, you must explain PTS (Permission to speak). If you don't know an easy way to do this, ask them to quiet down if there speak, and say

“PTS is active, whenever in a formal setting or an NCO or Co calls PTS you will not speak in voice chat without permission to do so. If you’d like permission type in General chat “PTS” and the NCO or CO will either Grant or Deny it”

*You will want to explain PTS, as soon as possible, if not you'll find the recruits will constantly talk over you, or each other.*

With their obedience, now you can begin with the Questions, so you can get an idea on where your recruits are, (OOC questions)

Are you recruits ready to join into the extensive Role Playing server and its community? (If anyone says no, Then don't train them because they have no intent to play)

Have you played on a Roleplay server before?

Have you played on a Military Rp Server before?

Do you have any questions before we start the training?

Chapter 2:

Chat Commands

During this Portion of the training, you will be teaching the recruits the uses of each chat function. Mostly the recruits will know them already because they’ve played Garry's mod before, but you must tell them that you need to teach them again, just to be sure they understand how to properly use them on this server.

/ooc - Inform the recruits that ooc stands for Out Of Character. This chat may only be used for Out of character messaging such as the news on the latest football game or how the weather is in real life. The only times the ooc will be use in a recreational use is when radioing is being done.

/looc - Inform them on what this stands for, Local Out of Character. Used in the Same way as ooc, but in a local state.

/pm - This stands for Private Message, This is used for Privately messaging someone. Example “/pm frankoo Hi, how are ya?”

/me - The me Chat command is very important in Military Rp because it allows us to do things that our characters are unable to. Of course there are many examples of that and it can be discussed for a while, but essentially what you need to tell them is this

“The /me is used for Roleplaying actions that your character ingame can't do such as Saluting, waving or any other action”

@ - This is use to contact an admin, of course tell them not to spam them with useless garbage.

(OPTIONAL) /w and /y - These both Amplify and quiet your General chat

Chapter 3:

Don't try to use exploits or hacks

Don't team kill no matter what

Never disrespect any administration

Chapter 4:

Explanation of Role Play

This Chapter goes over the Role play that recruits should understand before entering into the community.

First you must go over the difference between War, Peace and Neutral.

War - During war the Base is on High alert. Enlisted Soldiers will be at posts, if you don't have a post find an NCO or MP to Post you

Neutral - During Neutral the Base is on Alert, you'll find there’ll be less attacks from Tali, but you will still be posted and stay there unless told otherwise.

Peace - During Peace, you will be enjoying the comfort of Passive Rp. During this time you should be training your Skills such as Stamina, Endurance, and your Weapon Proficiency. To raise your Stamina Run laps around the base. Endurance you will run and jump. To raise your proficiency of a weapon go to the Shooting Range, and with you silencer on fire at the targets.

2) Briefly talk about why we consider all of the Taliban until they are proven Taliban.

Here's an example of how you could do this:

“Out of character we all know who's taliban by just clicking tab, but in character you're completely oblivious. You know them as Civilian, you will call them civilians. The only time there Taliban is when they reveal that they are. Which we’ll go into more when i explain the ROE ”

Chapter 5:

ROE - Rules of Engagement

This is a collection of multiple ROE’s, into one compiled Segment.

The Self Defence Rule -

The Precautions Rule -

When an armed Civilian is pointing their weapon at you or a fellow soldier, you must give them a chance to put their weapon away, failure to do so immediately results in their death.

The Murder Rule -

You are not to shoot an unarmed civilian. If there is a problem such as Minging the KOS line, you must first detain him. If you can not find an MP or someone else with handcuffs, you must give the civilian 10 seconds to stop what he/she was doing. If they Fail to do so after the 10 seconds, it will result in their death.

The Arrest Rule -

If an enemy has restraints inside the U.S. FOB without any sort of escort, you may tell them to stop, and if they do not comply, you may fire upon them.

The Spock Rule -

“The Needs of the Many Outweigh the Needs of the Few”.

If a civilian has an RPG, he is immediately marked as a Taliban and should be fired upon.

The Common Sense Rule -

If there is a civilian with his weapon on safety or otherwise not threatening US personnel, you may not fire at them until they are proven to be Taliban.
